Mission privacy / September 16, 2026
Your data never leaves orbit.
Cross Road Fauna keeps its working records close: on your device, outside our reach, and away from tracking systems.
No identity payload
Cross Road Fauna does not ask you to create an account. We do not send your name, email, precise location, advertising identifier, retained IP address, usage history, or game content to any server operated by us.
Game records stay aboard
Everything the game needs to remember is saved only on your device:
- completed levels, best times and hints left;
- in-game
eggs and
coins earned by playing (they have no real-money value and cannot be bought);
- Daily Challenge progress on the farm, beach and Egypt maps;
- chosen avatar, road and playing field style, and settings such as vibration;
- your avatar photo, if you choose to take one with the camera.
Cross Road Fauna has no application backend that receives these records. Copies created by iOS, iCloud or another backup service follow that provider’s terms and controls.
In-app purchases
The game is free to play. Some cosmetic items can be unlocked with an optional one-time in-app purchase, or with coins earned while playing:
- avatars for the character that leads the road;
- road styles;
- playing field colors.
These purchases are non-consumable: once bought, an item stays unlocked and can be brought back with Restore Purchases in the Shop on the same Apple Account.
All payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card details, billing address, name or Apple Account credentials. The app only receives a confirmation from Apple’s StoreKit that a specific item was purchased, and uses it on your device to unlock that item.
Current prices are always shown by the App Store before you confirm a purchase. Purchase history, refunds and receipts are managed by Apple in your Apple Account settings.
Cross Road Fauna does not offer subscriptions. If subscriptions are ever introduced, this policy will be updated before they become available.
No advertising telemetry
The app carries no third-party analytics SDK and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We cannot sell, share or target with personal information from the game because it never reaches us.
Permissions stay gated
Cross Road Fauna asks for camera access only when you tap Camera or Retake on the “Your photo” avatar card in the Shop or the avatar picker. iOS shows a system prompt first, and you can deny or withdraw access at any time in Settings.
The camera is used for one purpose: taking a single photo that becomes your in-game avatar. The photo is cropped to a square and saved only on your device. It is never uploaded, shared with us or anyone else, or used for face recognition. The app cannot open your photo library.
Cross Road Fauna does not request access to your photos, contacts, microphone or location.
When you open this policy inside the game, the page is loaded from our website like any web page. The web host may briefly process technical request data, such as an IP address, to deliver the page.
Apple’s separate store, payment, device and diagnostic operations are covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Your exit procedure
You can erase your game progress at any time with Settings → Reset progress, or remove all local data by deleting the app. Your avatar photo stays on the device until you take a new one or delete the app. Purchased items remain linked to your Apple Account and can be restored later. There is no remote profile for us to retrieve or erase; any external backup remains subject to its provider’s retention choices.
Children and course changes
Cross Road Fauna is suitable for players of all ages. We knowingly collect no personal data from children or adults.
If this policy changes in a material way, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
